Create and edit a bike in Stable

Add a bike to Stable and keep its photo, specifications, value, and mileage up to date.

Create a bike

  1. Open Stable and choose Create a New Bike.
  2. Enter a required name.
  3. Optionally add manufacturer, model, type, frame size, wheel and tire size, material, weight, value, current mileage, notes, and a photo.
  4. Save the bike.

Make the photo fit

You can take a new photo or choose one from your library. Fill frame crops the edges so the image fills the available space; Show full photo keeps the entire image visible and may leave some empty space around it. Use the left, center, or right focus setting to keep the most important part of the bike in view.

Mileage and value

If the bike has already been ridden, enter its current mileage when you create or edit it. Each completed BikeNet ride assigned to that bike is then added to the total. This gives service reminders and component history a more useful starting point.

Bike and component values use the currency selected in More. Deleting a bike removes its BikeNet profile and component records, but it does not erase configuration stored directly on NXS hardware.
