Sensors
Pair and manage sensors
Add a sensor
- Open Stable, select the bike, and open Bike Setup.
- Choose Add component > Cycling sensor.
- Pick Heart Rate, Speed, Cadence, Speed/Cadence, Power, Bike Light, or a diagnostic all-ANT search.
- Choose Automatic, Bluetooth, or ANT+.
- Wake the sensor, select it, and wait for verification.
Understand the status
Connected means BikeNet is currently receiving data. Searching means the app is trying to find a sensor that was paired earlier. Asleep usually means the sensor has stopped broadcasting because it has not detected any activity; it does not necessarily mean anything is wrong.
Battery level and last-seen time are shown only when the sensor provides that information. Some sensors do not report a useful battery level.
Replace or remove a sensor
Use Replace when you are fitting a new sensor for the same job—for example, replacing one speed sensor with another. BikeNet keeps the role on the bike but pairs it with the new device. Remove simply unassigns the saved sensor.
Remember that ANT+ sensors connect through the NXS rear derailleur motor, while Bluetooth sensors connect directly to the app. If one type is not connecting, check the appropriate part of that connection path.
